Happy New Years everyone!

I hope you all rang in the new year with some serious style!! I absolutely loved 2012, it brought a lot of fun things for me, most notably marrying my best friend and working on my first cookbook, but I’m seriously excited for 2013. I know it’s going to be a great year for all of us and I can’t wait to share it with you guys!! You guys are seriously my favorite part about this blog – so thank you for being so awesome 🙂

Alright, now let’s get down to business. I know the new year typically brings a lot of “healthy eating” resolutions and I’m 100% all about that right now. I’m actually on day 1 of a little juice cleanse – I’ll be sure to share more on that later – but for now, I thought I’d help kick start your new year with some really fab flavorful and HEALTHY recipes! I mean we all love our decadent sweet treats, but sometimes it’s nice to get back to the basics and eat really fresh, colorful and low-calorie food.

    1. Spinach smoothies are sooo good! Pack in those veggies and you get a fun bright green color!

  4. MORE KALE SALADS!!!! Your Kale Salad recipe started me on a kale kick about a year ago and it has not waned. One yummy variation that’d recommend is feta, roasted butternut squash and toasted pumpkin seeds YUMMMMM DO IT!!!! (used your same dressing but added a bit of maple syrup :))
