Pulled Pork Sliders are getting some time in the spotlight today!!
These pulled pork sliders have been on rotation in our house for years. I love that I can throw everything into the slow cooker in the morning, toast some slider buns in the afternoon and then throw it all together when it’s time to eat. It takes absolutely zero concentration which is exactly what I need these coming months because life is about to get a little hectic.
So, if you’re looking for something delicious, easy, simple, and awesome… look no further. Pulled Pork Sliders are your new jam. Throw some pickles or picked onions on top to give it an extra crunch and you’re on your way!

Gaby, I just may have to make these. Pulled Pork is one of Brian’s favorites and doing it in the crockpot makes it so easy!
Gaby, these look positively mouth-watering!!! I need to come to your Super Bowl party!!!
Pulled pork may be one of my favorite things of all time!! Yum, I would love to have pulled pork sliders while I watch the game!!
I have never had pulled pork before… but just looking at your picture makes me want to try it out. Could I cook it in a Dutch oven if I don’t have a slow cooker?
So um, I am starting to think our lunch date should be a potluck and then we can all have all these amazing foods.
these are so cute..
Gaelle, I used to work in a restaurant in which one of my daily lunch items was a pulled pork sandwich in a citrus sauce. Being a rather large operation, we didn’t have a slow cooker, so we used standard stainless steel pots, which worked wonderfully. My recommendation to you would be as follows:
Follow the recipe exactly. Put all ingredients into your dutch oven, and place over medium heat to simmer for about 6-8 hours. At that point, remove from heat, and take pork out of the dutch oven. If you wish to shred it hot, do so with forks, or burning of the fingers will insue (trust me…). I prefer to pull by gloved hand when cooled, though it takes some time to cool. After pork has been pulled, return the meat to the pot, and moisten it with the sauce you’ve saved from prior braising. Just bring the meat back to a simmer, and enjoy.
Just following this will work like a charm everytime. This is easily my favorite lunch in all creation! It is SUCH the perfect sporting event food. All you guests will love it!
Wow! They look soooo delicious!!
I don’t care about football either! Haha. At any superbowl party, I really am just there for the food! Time to bust out the slow cooker. I almost never use it, and this is a great excuse to revive it.
I love bite sized food! Those look amazing, can I come to your super bowl party?!
That looks so phenomenal. That’s why we love following you on Twitter!
I’ve been searching for pulled pork recipes! That’s what I’ve decided I want to make for the Superbowl. I’m bookmarking this now.Your sliders are adorable!
Definitely going to attempt these for Sunday. have you ever made the pork ahead of time and reheated it??
Thanks for the recipe Gaby…we made these for Superbowl Sunday and they were a big hit! FYI I made two slight modifications and added about 1 1/2 tsp of dry mustard and a pinch of dry crushed habenero for a bit more kick.
Pretty nice post. I just stumbled upon your blog and wanted to say that I have really enjoyed browsing your blog posts. In any case I’ll be subscribing to your feed and I hope you write again soon!

These sliders look fantastic! I have added them to the list for our game day party.
To be honest, I must make a full confession here, I love football! I know! I’m sorry, I just do!
I’m going to set my slow cooker out and let everyone serve themselves this year.
But, where did you get those little buns? Did you buy them? or Bake them?
These are AMAZING! I made this for Super Bowl Sunday last year and now it’s become a favorite of my family! So we make this several times a year, but of course with Super Bowl Sunday coming up guess what everyone wants again!!!! Thanks Gaby for sharing it and Ro-Tel for posting it last year!
Oh and I noticed that someone posted something about buns…this is wide open! We use sourdough dinner rolls from our local grocery store, but the guys love it on hogie rolls. I know friends of mine that I’ve shared the recipe with have also used Kings Hawaiian rolls.
hi gaby!
I just put my pork butt in the slow cooker! very excited to see how this turns out…looks like a great recipe!!!
hi GAby! The sliders were a big hit….very delicious…but I have a question. I am not a pro with using the slow cooker. Should the meat be totally submerged in the liquid while it is cooking? After the 8 hours , I noticed the top half of the meat was dryer than the part in the liquid… Also,my slow cooker has an internal thermometer…I am wondering if I cooked it too long. Maybe I should use that in the future. Love to know your thoughts. Love the blog!!
The best… Made this last weekend for the family. Tossed my “old” pulled pork recipe away.
Love your site.
that works for me.
OMG cant wait to try great blog Gaby keep up the good work
These are amazing- just finished my 2nd sandwich- I topped them with a blue cheese dressing and maybe a bit of roquette would be good too?
I’m a bit behind here but I was wondering how much the sauce thickens up. I love a good, thick BBQ sauce!! These sliders look delish- I am going to make them this weekend and again for the Super Bowl! 🙂 THanks!
