This is my favorite time of year. I am so thankful for all the wonderful people in my life and all of us gathering to share a feast. We cook together over several days and I cherish each of those moments creating special memories with my family. We always read the thanksgiving prayer my daughter, who is now 27 wrote when she was 9 and we talk about what we are grateful for. The best day of the year always for me!
I will be enjoying the fact Im not cooking !!! (not till Christmas anyway…LOL)
And loving family and my friends… :))
Thanksgiving to me means family and FOOD!
I am looking forward to pie!
I love my stuffing that I make that was the way my mother made it. Brings back memories of her. She’s been gone for 10 years and I miss her madly. Thanksgiving is just a great Holiday, it’s all about the food and family, no stress about gifts and wrapping and things that can make Holidays stressful, whick they should not be. Also tried asparagus bundles, new food tradtion at our house now!!!
Looking forward to stuffing…love it! Also, family and friends!

I am looking forward to spending time with Family, we will be traveling to North Carolina, so beautiful there.
I will have both of my children and most of my grandchildren here on the farm for Thanksgiving. Some live too far away, military, as does my great grandchild. Someday we will all be here together. We have our huge dinner and the children and grandchildren take a long hike while I take a nap. My husband says I am getting to old to do the cooking but I think not. My daughter and daughter-in-law are a big help. It is such a special time of year. Thank you for the giveaway and may you have all of your family around the table this special day.

The combination of food & family (ok, and wine…) can not be beat. I will get to see my sister for the first time in a year and a half and I am counting down the days!!

What I am looking forward to most about this Thanksiving is seeing my mom. She iives about 2.5 hours away. I see her once in a while, and have stayed with her after different health and medical issues, but now that she is almost done aging — very gracefully — I know in my heart that this will be the last Thanksgiving I will share with her. My sister is hosting the day, and most of mom’s kids, grandkids and great grandkids will be there; I only wish the out-of-staters could make it but i understand it’s not possible. It will be a happy/sad day, but I wouldn’t miss this opportunity for anything!
Have a very happy, and meaningful, Thanksgiving!
All of the great food and time spent with family!
Love spending time with all the family and making their favorite Thanksgiving meal complete with turkey and dressing and all the trimmings.
I look forward all year to sourdough stuffing – it’s the only time of the year that I allow myself to indulge in such yumminess!
Has to be being with family first, followed with a close second of Good Food!
Love to cook and share with loved ones.
Family and good food..
