You guys. I’ve got a big exciting surprise for ya today! I made you a very special, extra cheesy, tomatillo salsa loaded poutine. I know. It’s decadent.
I know poutine is typically made with gravy and all that jazz, but I live in LA and there are still tomatillos at my farmers market! So I wanted to give this comforting dish a new spin. So I went ahead and fried up some french fries and then melted some cheese on top and topped it all off with a tomatillo avocado salsa sprinkled with chopped red onion and bacon.
I don’t know about you, but this just screams football food to me!
So let’s talk about this blender for a hot second.
Have you guys ever used a Blendtec? It’s kinda a dream come true. It’s super powerful and it made this tomatillo avocado salsa in literally 16 seconds flat. I timed it. And I did NO prep work. Like I didn’t chop up any of the veggies really, and just threw everything into the blender and let it go to work. Brilliance. 16 seconds later I was ready to go!
If I had to go do my wedding registry all over again, this would be at the top of my list! I can’t even being to tell you how fast it makes my smoothies in the morning. Can you imagine how quickly it would make a blended margarita come spring time when it’s time to lay out by the pool. It’s going to be a whole new world 🙂

Oooh I love giveaways!! I also looooove making green smoothies in my blender!
Right now I hate to make any frozen drinks because they end up chunky and the blender starts to smell, but that is to be expected from the $20 Target blender special that I own. It is capable (usually) of doing very small amounts of soups…like Butternut Squash soup which is my favorite.
I would LOVE to win this! my current blender hardly blends a thing. I’m constantly making smoothies and soups and would love to have a blender that actually works!
already following both you and Blendtec on twitter

can you tell I want this blender?? haha, lastly… retweeted your giveaway!
I’d love to win the blender to try making avocado smoothies. Currently don’t have a blender, but avocados are my favorite so I’ve been dying to try! Tweeting next!
I love to make fresh salsas – they are so much better than the store bought kind & easy to make.
Smoothies…. although I am limited to what my current blender can blend as it is just about worn out. thanks!
I love making strawberry and mango smoothies. They are quite fantastic.
I love to make smoothies in my blender. But it is a bit past it’s prime so it takes quite a while to do so, and is generally a pain
Margaritas are definitely my favorite blender beverage – and they will be so much easier to make (and more delicious) with a Blendtec!

I love to make green smoothies in the blender!
I love smoothies! I make them everyday (that it’s hot) and my husband and I go on walks together while we drink down our veggies. By the time summer dies down we lose the drive to make smoothies… it just takes so long! We want a blendtec so bad, but they’re just a little pricey for us right now. I would love to be able to make soups, smoothies, purees of all types, and just so many other things so quickly. Great giveaway!
I like you on FB (and in real/internet life). I also like Blendtec on FB!
Oh, and can I just say, as a Canadian living in the USofA that this is such a beautiful thing to do to poutine. Seriously, it’s beautiful.
My fav thing has to be making big batches of roasted red pepper hummus!
