Frozen Berries with a Hot White Chocolate Sauce

Jump to Recipe

Whew!! Last week was one crazy week! It all started with a fabulous Memorial Day party at my clients home, and then came my birthday which was a smashing success, followed but a busy week full of personal chef “cooking dates”, a big graduation party I personal cheffed for on Saturday and then rounding it all out with Taste of the National LA on Sunday. O.M.G. I’m tired just writing it all down!

After sitting on my butt for at least 4 hours and trying to unwind from the insane week, I decided I needed a little sweet treat to end the weekend. This simple frozen berry dessert is the most perfect bite for a hot summer day, which is what we have been having here in L.A. recently… in fact… I even got a tan this weekend… it’s very exciting.

The combination of fresh farmers market berries that have been frozen for about 90 minutes with a hot white chocolate sauce was perfect. It only takes about 10 minutes of actual prep time so its also a great dessert for when you have guests over! In fact, I plan on serving it at work this week and again at a dinner party this weekend. Its decadent. And you need to make it, trust me, you’ll thank me later. I literally licked my plate clean.

    1. omg right?!?! I want it for breakfast too… only problem is I ate the rest of my White Chocolate last night!

    1. It won’t matter at all. The recipe just says to have frozen berries. If they are fresh, to freeze them for 90 minutes.
