Greetings from 10,000 feet up in the air. Okay, so I don’t really know how high up in the sky I am, but I’m heading home to Los Angeles after a great trip to NYC. One of my favorite parts about this trip was getting to meet so many new and fabulous people who have gorgeous cookbooks.
I’m a little bit of a cookbook fanatic. They all live on a special bookcase, dedicated to cookbooks, in my living room. And obviously they are color coordinated. I mean it only makes sense to color coordinate your cookbooks right? I color coordinate my closet, so what’s wrong with doing it all over the house.
This past week I found a bunch of new books that have already been ordered and will hopefully be arriving within the next 24 hours. Gotta love Amazon Prime 🙂

hmm. they all sound amazing! I’d love to get Serve Yourself by Joe Yonan, simply because I live alone and get tired of doing the math to cut down a recipe for 6-8 to a meal for 1-2 (leftovers, obviously).

The obvious choice based on the cover and name would have been Fried Chicken and Champagne by Lisa Dupar. Seriously? Talk about a happy meal! I may need to have that combo some weekend. But, alas, after a thorough review the winner is Cook This Now: 120 Easy and Delectable Dishes You Can’t Wait to Make by Melissa Clark.
