Smookie’s… aka the best dessert ever!

Jump to Recipe

Normally for birthdays and special occasions I make big elaborate cakes but Thomas, my boyfriend, requested smores for his birthday party! I decided to put a little twist on the normal smore and instead of using graham crackers I made chocolate chip (pictured) and sugar cookies to make the top and bottom part of the smores! Thus the name Smookie’s… pronounced smooooooookies (Smores and Cookies… get it?) 🙂

It can’t get much easier than this recipe! All you need to do is whip up a quick batch of your favorite cookies. Here is the recipe I used for Chocolate Chip Cookies. Once the cookies are baked and cooled you need 2 and then a marshmallow and a few chocolate chips.

Once the smore is assembled wrap it in tin foil and bake in a 350 degree oven for about 5-8 minutes, just long enough to melt the chocolate chips and soften the marshmellow.

Doesn’t that look so amazingly delicious! These are the perfect dessert for any casual occasion and are both kid and adult friendly!
