I don’t know about you but I’m almost ready for it to be a bit cooler out than it has been in LA. All I want in life is to wear my stretchy yoga pants and a big sweater and call it a day. It would be nice to turn on the oven too without being afraid of making your apartment so hot that you have to vacate asap! And making make some french toast or pancakes for breakfast and relax. Is that asking too much? 🙂
Anyways… its always great for me to have little breakfast ideas, tips and tricks in my mind so I can whip up a delicious breakfast at home or if I am working. This French Toast video that I shot with Good Bite is a perfect and easy recipe that everyone will love!
Oh girl… I need relief from the heat too! I can’t wait for Fall. And french toast. But mine never looks that pretty!
This looks positively decadent! What a special treat! This would warm up my insides on any morning, afternoon or evening!
What happened to this summer? First we had June gloom that lasted until August and now it feels like the heat is being crammed into these last few weeks. That french toast looks amazing!
This is my first time visiting your site and the recipes look fabulous! That french toast I could eat for dessert:)
Gaby, you’ve sold me on your French toast. Now all I have to do is convince my husband that eating carbs at home is a good idea. Damn him and his dieting! 🙂
Amazing! I can’t wait to try your recipe! and wear yoga pants 😉
those look amazing! and such an ingenious idea to bake them! …plus the baking time will be good for multitasking & you wanna cook the eggs & bacon.
I gave this a try Gaby and you’re right – it’s perfect 🙂
These are great tips, Gaby! Thanks for the recipe, and cute video, as usual!
WOW Gaby! Looks amazing! And really cute video – short and to the point. I also like cold maple syrup (some people look at me crazy when I say that) vs warmed syrup. I look forward to reading more!!
At first sight, I did not reconize the dessert 😉 ! That’s weird and funny, in France, we call this recipe “Pain perdu”, and if I translate it, it means “Lost bread”. Anyway, that’s delicious, particularly on sunday morning !
