We&#8217;ve been a handful of times every year for the last 8 years. My sister went to school there, one of my best friends lives there now and it&#8217;s one of the best food cities ever! Just go and order all the small plates and prepare to be pumped!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Oven and Shaker<\/strong> &#8211; wood fired pizza. duh<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bamboo Sushi<\/strong> (northwest location) &#8211; seriously inventive sushi rolls that will blow your mind.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hairy Lobster<\/strong> &#8211; go with people who you trust. It&#8217;s all about shared plates and you want to be on the same page for ordering!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pine<\/strong> Street Market &#8211; a little food hall that is NOT to be missed!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Luc Lac &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>Vietnamese Food!! I could eat here all day long.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shift Drinks<\/strong> &#8211; cocktails and\/or wine! Perfect place for happy hour before dinner.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Andina<\/strong> &#8211; the first restaurant I went to in Portland when I started visiting 10 years ago. I&#8217;ve been almost every year &#8211; best Peruvian outside of Peru!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Headwaters<\/strong> &#8211; a seafood focused restaurant with a French flair!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Olympia Provisions<\/strong> &#8211; Go for brunch and get all the home made charcuterie &amp; European-style breakfast plates!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nong\u2019s Khao Man Gai &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>chicken and rice from a food cart&#8230; who knew. But it&#8217;s pretty freaking life changing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ping Yang Pow<\/strong> &#8211; Southeast Asian shophouse vibes with the best hangar steak and the most amazing crab fried rice<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cornell Farms<\/strong> &#8211; V cute breakfast spot in the middle of a nursery! Farm to table vibes and very seasonal!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mama Bird<\/strong> &#8211; honestly one of my most favorite spots we&#8217;ve ever done! All wood fired food with the best sauces<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bunk Sandwiches &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>there&#8217;s a sandwich debate in PDX and if you ask me, Bunk wins!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lardo &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>another front runner in the sandwich game!!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bistro Agnes &#8211;<\/strong> farm to table \/ french-ish with incredible service!!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ox &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong> Argentinian food galore!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tasty and Alder &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>all about a restaurant that does boards! Go for cheese boards, charcuterie boards&#8230; the works!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Blue Star Donuts<\/strong> &#8211; all the donuts please.<\/p>\n<p><strong>10 Barrel<\/strong> &#8211; BEER!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nostrana &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>Seasonal pizzas that come with pizza scissors. It&#8217;s everything my heart ever desires.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Coquine<\/strong> &#8211; go for the pastries!!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tusk<\/strong> &#8211; Middle Eastern eats with a gorgeous interior. The hummus is truly some of the best.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Great Notion<\/strong> &#8211; one of our fav breweries!! And their pretzel is not to be missed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Breakside Slabtown<\/strong> &#8211; more beer. Obviously. Portlands beer game is STRONG.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Apizza Scholls<\/strong> &#8211; thin crust pies all day long!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pip\u2019s Original Donuts<\/strong> &#8211; no explanation needed!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Salt and Straw<\/strong> &#8211; Portlands claim to fame with ice cream. It&#8217;s BEYOND. Word to the wise &#8211; the lines are brutal&#8230;. so be warned!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Proud Mary Coffee<\/strong> &#8211; one of my favorite places to brunch ever! Their sweets (pancakes, french toast, etc) are everything you&#8217;ve ever wanted and more! And since it&#8217;s an Aussie cafe, their coffee game is on point<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ava Gene&#8217;s<\/strong> &#8211; some of the best Italian in Portland.
