And it&#8217;s no coincidence that as winter rolls around, we now have plenty of excuses to head to Palm Springs and soak up some sunshine. Let&#8217;s do this!!<\/p>\n<style>.embed-container { position: relative; padding-bottom: 56.25%; height: 0; overflow: hidden; max-width: 100%; } .embed-container iframe, .embed-container object, .embed-container embed { position: absolute; top: 0; left: 0; width: 100%; height: 100%; }<\/style>\n<div class=\"embed-container\"><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/d\/u\/0\/embed?mid=1rj6-O8x43wpQgTlQfeTHBWynsdw\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p><strong>Eat:<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/workshoppalmsprings.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Workshop Kitchen + Bar<\/a> &#8211; one of the nicer restaurants in Palm Springs, Workshop is fab for a night on the town. It\u2019s minimalist design is perfect for your instagram obsessed folks like me &#8211; and the food is amazing. Their menu changes frequently, but fingers crossed you can order the octopus because it\u2019s the best!!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cheekysps.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cheeky\u2019s<\/a> &#8211; my go to place for a casual breakfast! There always seems to be a line but it\u2019s absolutely worth the wait! The chilequiles are to die for!! And if you don\u2019t wake up in time to hop over there for breakfast, check out their sister restaurant &#8230;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.birbaps.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Birba<\/a>\u00a0&#8211; it&#8217;s the sister restaurant to Cheeky&#8217;s and if you go you&#8217;re in for some really incredible pizza and wood fired food. The cocktails are fantastic (and strong) and the scene is so fun! It&#8217;s not to be missed.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4saintspalmsprings.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">4 Saints<\/a> &#8211; some truly epic food at Kimpton rooftop!!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/lhorizonpalmsprings.com\/sopa-restaurant\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">So.pa<\/a> &#8211; an all-day outdoors only restaurant with some pretty epic Middle Eastern food right smack in the middle of Palm Springs. It&#8217;s soooo cute!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.theparkerpalmsprings.com\/dine\/normas.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Norma\u2019s<\/a> &#8211; nestled right at the front of The Parker, Norma\u2019s is without a doubt the place to be. A boozy brunch here is beyond and you can meander down to the lemonade bar when you\u2019re done so you can continue your leisurely morning.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/corkandforkwinebar.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cork &amp; Fork<\/a> &#8211; and if you venture past Indian Wells into La Quinta (which is where all the amazing golf is) you\u2019ll need to somehow make your way to Cork &amp; Fork. It\u2019s the cutest little wine bar in the desert and their tiny outdoor patio is gorgeous. You can\u2019t go wrong with anything on the menu but their Poke Nachos are kinda out of this world!!<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-19766\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.whatsgabycooking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/The-Parker-Palm-Springs.jpg\" alt=\"The Parker Palm Springs\" width=\"870\" height=\"580\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cdn.whatsgabycooking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/The-Parker-Palm-Springs.jpg 870w, https:\/\/cdn.whatsgabycooking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/The-Parker-Palm-Springs-600x400.jpg 600w, https:\/\/cdn.whatsgabycooking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/The-Parker-Palm-Springs-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 870px) 100vw, 870px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Drink:<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.colonypalmshotel.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Colony Palms<\/a> &#8211; one of the best places to get a poolside cocktail and enjoy the scenery! Colony Palms is not only gorgeous, but it\u2019s right smack in the middle of Palm Springs &#8211; so go toodle around and grab a mid-day cocktail here!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jdvhotels.com\/hotels\/california\/riverside-hotels\/the-saguaro-palm-springs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">El Jefe<\/a> &#8211; I mean, what\u2019s a trip to the desert without the best guacamole, tacos and margaritas. El Jefe takes the cake on that 100%<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.laquintaresort.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">La Quinta Resort + Club <\/a>has the sweetest piano bar with a pretty fantastic wine list! They also have about 3 other restaurants with amazing outdoor patios. When we head out to the desert with a group of 8+ people, it\u2019s all about renting a sweet mid-century modern house complete with a gorgeous kitchen, pool area and living room. I\u2019ve been renting from Beau Monde Villas for the past few years and each property has the cutest personality and never fails to disappoint!!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.airbnb.com\/rooms\/plus\/18003242?source_impression_id=p3_1571765744_g9bF32KGwMTS1HbD\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Miro Haus<\/a> &#8211; another one of my FAVORITE rental properties ever for smaller groups. The Miro Haus is so cute, easy to book on Airbnb, the hosts are INCREDIBLE and the back yard is magic.\u00a0 MAGIC I TELL YOU. Their fire place and I spent a LOT of time together last time we were there!! And it&#8217;s so close to downtown you can be at dinner in 3 minutes flat!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rowanpalmsprings.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rowan Palm Springs<\/a> &#8211; one of the newer Kimpton properties that is tres chic and great food. It&#8217;s basically a little mini Vegas in Palm Springs so if you&#8217;re going for a party&#8230; THIS IS IT.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/holidayhouseps.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Holiday House<\/a> &#8211; Ugh. How do I even count the ways I love Holiday House. It&#8217;s one of the newer and smaller properties in PS and it&#8217;s glorious! Great pool \/ great vibes \/ and amazing poolside snacks.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.colonypalmshotel.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Colony Palms<\/a> &#8211; FAVORITE hotel in PS. Period. The pool is small and fun, the guacamole is out of this world. and it&#8217;s right in town so you can walk everywhere.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.laquintaresort.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">La Quinta Resort + Club<\/a> &#8211; like I said before, La Quinta Resort is GORGEOUS! If you\u2019re into staying a bit further out from Palm Springs proper &#8211; this is the place!! It\u2019s perfectly situated if you\u2019re going to the festivals or checking out the annual tennis tournament in Indian Wells!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My favorite places to eat, drink and stay in Palm Springs, just in time for festival season and spring break!
