So now that I’ve finally been able to share a little sneak peak into our wedding<\/a>, I wanted to share the most amazing honeymoon we’ve ever taken. Okay so I guess you only have 1 real honeymoon, but I think we should have annual honeymoons. Don’t you? Fun week long getaways where you get to explore new hotels and cultures. I think I’m going to make it a thing.<\/p>\n

We went back and forth on where we wanted to spend our honeymoon. We toyed with Europe but ultimately decided that we literally just wanted to lay on the beach and relax. So we decided Mexico was the place to go! I searched high and low for the best hotel in Mexico and finally decided on the Capella Pedregal<\/a> after one of my friends\u00a0spent some time there and said it was fab.<\/p>\n

We were both so excited to spend some quality time in the sun working on our tans and eating our favorite kind of food on the planet, but I don’t think either of us were quite prepared for how extraordinary of a week it was really going to be.<\/p>\n

From the second we pulled into the hotel we were greeted with margaritas, made exactly to our preference. And then after checking into our room we were given a giant bowl of freshly made guacamole, some tequila and limes and Coronas. I mean clearly they did their research on what we liked. Or so I thought, turns out, everyone gets daily deliveries of fresh guacamole and Coronas! How genius is that. It just shows up a 4pm. Brilliant. It’s exactly what we wanted every day after coming in from a few hours in the sun.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The food at Capella was out of this world. From breakfast to lunch to dinner, we stuffed our faces with some of the most delectable food we’ve ever had. There are a few restaurants on the property and they were all amazing. I know there are plenty of other fun restaurants around our hotel, but we were so impressed we didn’t leave once for an outside meal!<\/p>\n

And the spa. Omg that massage was literally the best one I’ve ever had. I wanted the spend the entire day on my massage table it was that brilliant.<\/p>\n

I need to schedule us a trip back immediately. It was brilliant. Here’s a little glimpse into how fab this trip was\u2026.<\/p>\n

Oh I want to go back right this minute. Especially for the daily 4pm delivery of guacamole. That’s my idea of heaven!<\/p>\n
