Was Santa good to you this year? Santa totally hooked me up with a new website!! woohoo. We are still working on a few tweaks here and there – but as soon as it’s done (fingers crossed that it’s tonight) I’ll be back with a little video tutorial on all the goodies 🙂 But in the mean time… what do you think? We wanted to clean it up a bit, brighten things up, and make it more user friendly! If you see anything off kilter – just let me know 🙂 k thanks!
So in the mean time lets make cocktails.
Yup. It’s 9:33 while I’m writing this and I’m ready to talk about cocktails. I mean New Years Eve is right around the corner and we’ve got to prepare here people. There are parties to be had. Cocktails to be made. And a whole lotta fun that’s about to take place. So let’s raise a glass or two and ring in the new year!
This Elderflower Mint Prosecco Cocktail is one of my new obsessions. We made it last week when we were in Mammoth doing a little skiing, and it was a hit across the board! I’m probably totally obsessed with this cocktail because it has Elderflower in it and it’s probably the best tasting alcohol on earth. It’s made with delicate elderflower blossoms and they are just divine. Basically it’s the type of flower that you want to roll around in for a few hours and then smell like this sweet scent for the rest of the day. Basically, if you’re into cocktails, you need to try this cocktail. Trust me.
So for New Years Eve this year, I’ll be whipping up some of these bubbly beverages. It’s a combination of Elderflower liquor aka St-Germain and some Prosecco, mint leaves and finely sliced cucumbers. It’s bright and refreshing and it has bubbles. And isn’t that what New Years Eve is all about… the bubbles!!
